I have been a sole practitioner in the Tacoma area since I became licensed in October 1980. I have a general practice, but my main areas are family law and small business law. I am also a Commissioner Pro Tem and a Judge Pro Tem in Pierce County Superior Court, which gives me an additional and unique perspective on both the law and how to most competently represent the client’s interests.
When you engage me to represent your interests in a legal matter, I don’t assign your case to a secretary or paralegal. When you call, you’ll talk to me. I will know about your case day by day. I prepare all of the pleadings, argue motions, and if necessary try your case. I personally interact with the Court and with opposing attorneys or parties.
Tacoma Family Law Attorney
I have experience in almost all areas of family law, including divorce, custody, modification, and adoption. Recognizing that family law matters are especially sensitive, I treat these cases with the same individual attention that has been my trademark throughout my career. Because I have acted as Commissioner Pro Tem for these types of cases, I have an understanding of them from a unique point of view.
